Would you like to see the best and beautiful areas in Tuscany in one memorable day? A charming Tuscan landscape was the dreams of my day immersed in the history and traditions of the cities

I find Pisa along the road that leads to the coast from Florence. I spend a magical day, made even more delighted by traditional Tuscan lunch. My journey begins with a visit to Pisa one of the most important Historial towns in Tuscany and are not to be missed sights and its stunning Piazza dei Miracoli, is among the most beautiful monumental complexes in the world. where you will admire the Baptistery, the Cathedral and of course the famous Leaning Tower.

The towns most prosperous period was undoubtedly the 12th century and this is witnessed by the urban shape of the old town center with many buildings, squares and alleyways that run along the river Arno, which was for centuries the major communication route.

It has always been an estuary town and was already an important naval base in Roman times intensifying trade in the Mediterranean.

Pisa is also famous for one of the most prestigious higher learning institutions of Europe the Scuola Normale Superiore.

At the end of the tour I also had free time to wander in the square and take plenty of pictures.

My wanders continue with a visit to San Gimignano, the splended Médiéval town declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After I had lunch in a winery restaurant, where I enjoyed a wine tasting of renowned local wine. The lunch consists of typical products.

Started with brochettes, salami, and fresh cheese, as first-course tagliatelle with ragù sauce or tomato sauce and at the end panna cotta with chocolate on top, wine and water included.

Then, following the panoramic road of the Chianti region, I get to Siena, the City of the Palio Horse Race. Here I’ve seen the best monuments and buildings of Siena.

I visited Piazza del Campo where the Palio de Siena horse race is held and Piazza del Duomo where the exterior of the magnificent Cathedral. After visited Siena, I went back by train to Florence where my Hotel is in the Center.
